Street Level Episode 403 – Navajo Street to air September 20

by admin on September 4, 2016

Prajna Media Group producer Gordon Eaton is proud to have produced a segment for this episode. From the Colorado Public Television PBS website:

“Navajo Street

For more than 100 years the area surrounding this historic neighborhood was made up of a deep-rooted Italian, immigrant population. Navajo street was the focal point of Denver’s own ‘little Italy.”Over time, families moved away and the face of the neighborhood has shifted. But as you’ll see on tonight’s show, some things never change! Andra Dohrn of Denver Film Company takes us inside the iconic Patsy’s Inn, Denver’s oldest Italian restaurant. Dominic Dezzutti illustrates how the church, Our Lady of Mount Carmel continues to connect generations and cultures even as the neighborhood evolves around it and producer Gordon Eaton takes us behind-the-scenes to visit the galleries that make the Navajo Street Arts District so successful.
